Ordering & subscriptions

How do subscriptions work?

We send an email notification at least three days before each subscription order ships, giving you time to pause, skip, change your delivery frequency, or cancel if needed.

Subscriptions include 15% off every order for as long as the subscription remains active. You can make changes to your subscription here.

Why isn’t my discount code working?

Discount codes and subscription promotions cannot be combined or stacked. Discount codes apply to eligible one-time orders, while subscriptions are treated as a separate promotion with a recurring discount for the duration of the subscription.

Shipping & delivery

What does expedited shipping include?

Expedited shipping is an optional service available at checkout for time-sensitive deliveries. Orders with expedited shipping are delivered the next business day after shipment, while processing times remain the same for all orders.

When will my order ship?

Orders ship Monday through Thursday and may ship as soon as two days after purchase. Please allow up to seven days depending on your order date and location.

During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly extended.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship throughout the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship internationally at this time.

How is my order packaged?

Because our products are frozen, we take extra care to help keep them that way throughout their journey to you. Orders are packed in corrugated shipping boxes with insulated liners and dry ice to maintain freezing temperatures during transit.

We also adjust the amount of dry ice throughout the year based on seasonal temperatures, adding more during hotter months when needed. Our shipping packaging is recyclable.

If the dough is made in New York, why does my package ship from another state?

Our NY-style dough is made in New York using New York water, then frozen and sent to our U.S. fulfillment centers for storage and shipping. That means the location shown on your tracking may be different from where the dough was made.

Using multiple fulfillment locations helps us get frozen orders to customers more efficiently while keeping the product stored frozen until it ships.

What if something isn’t right with my order?

While we prepare every order with safe delivery in mind, orders can occasionally experience delays or be affected by changing weather conditions. If your order arrives later than expected or anything about its condition doesn’t seem right, please contact us at help@pocobero.com. We want every experience with Poco Bero to feel as good as the moments you create around the table.

Dry ice

There was no dry ice left in my box. Is my order still okay?

Dry ice naturally sublimates during transit, which means it turns directly from a solid into a gas. Because of this, there may be little or no dry ice remaining by the time your box arrives.

The absence of dry ice does not by itself mean your order thawed or is unsafe. Your products should arrive frozen. If they are frozen when delivered, place them in the freezer right away. If your products are not frozen or anything about their condition doesn’t seem right, please contact us at help@pocobero.com.

How should I handle the dry ice in my order?

Dry ice is extremely cold and should never be handled with bare hands. If any remains in your box, use insulated gloves or tongs and keep it away from children and pets.

Do not place dry ice in an airtight container. Leave any remaining dry ice in the shipping box in a well-ventilated area, safely out of reach, and allow it to sublimate completely. Do not dispose of dry ice in a sink, toilet, or other enclosed space.

Where can I find the handling instructions?

You will be emailed instructions after your order is delivered, but you can also scan the QR code on the box or find the PDF instructions and instructional video on our website.

Do I need a proofing container for the dough?

A proofing container is helpful, but you do not need any special equipment to use the dough. Once thawed, place each dough ball in a lightly covered container with enough room for it to relax and expand as it proofs.

A food-safe container, bowl, or tray with a lid or cover works well. The important part is giving the dough enough space and keeping it covered so the surface does not dry out.

How long will the dough last in my freezer?

Our pizza dough follows a fresh-to-flash-frozen method, preserving its freshness while extending its shelf life.

For optimal results, we suggest using the frozen dough within 9 months of delivery.

Pro tip: Keep the dough tightly sealed in its original packaging and stored consistently frozen until you’re ready to use it. Limiting exposure to air and temperature fluctuations helps prevent freezer burn and dry or tough spots.

Can I refreeze the dough after I’ve taken it out of the freezer?

Once the dough has fully thawed, we do not recommend refreezing it. Instead, keep it refrigerated and use it within 72 hours.

Do you offer smaller quantities of dough?

You’re definitely not the first to ask! We’re exploring smaller pack sizes for the future. Shipping frozen products is pretty pricey on our end, which makes it tough for us to offer a smaller kit at a price point that makes sense, but that does not mean we won't find a way eventually.

Where is the NY-style dough made?

Our NY-style pizza dough is made from scratch in none other than New York!

We use New York water, simple quality ingredients, and a process built for a chewy, pizzeria-style crust at home. New York water’s mineral composition contributes to the dough’s texture and flavor, helping create the distinctive characteristics associated with New York-style pizza.

What size are the dough balls and what size pizza can I make with them?

Each pizza dough ball is 10 oz (280g). These are perfect for 12" pizzas.

If you're going for a thinner, crispier style with a good hand toss, you could get up to 14".

Frozen pizza

How do I prepare my pizzas?

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Convection/fan is not recommended. Do not microwave.

Remove all packaging and place directly on the middle rack. No tray or pan needed. Heat for about 8–10 minutes. Cook longer for a crispier crust.

Are your pizzas really made by hand in Naples?

Yes! Every single pizza is made by hand by our pizzaioli (pizza masters) in Naples, Italy. We use the same age-old processes as the first pizza-makers in the country, passed down through generations. We do not outsource any part of our production process, using all-natural, locally sourced Italian ingredients.

How big are the pizzas?

Each pizza is 10–11 inches in diameter and can be enjoyed alone or shared with another.

Where can I find a list of the pizza ingredients?

Click here and select the pizza flavor you’re looking for and click the “+” next to “ingredients” to see the full list.

Where do you source your ingredients?

Our ingredients mostly come from small farms around Naples, located in the Campania region or southern Italy. We work hard to source the small-batch, highest-quality ingredients.

Can I add my own toppings?

Yes. You can add any toppings you’d like to the pizzas before or after they cook.

Do I need a pizza oven or any specific equipment to cook these?

No! Our patented freezing process locks in the flavors and textures of our pizzas the moment they emerge from the wood-burning ovens in Naples and only requires 8–10 minutes directly on the rack of any oven without a fan—even a toaster oven!

How do my pizzas arrive at my door from Italy?

We flash freeze pizzas moments after they come out of our brick ovens in Naples using our proprietary production process.

They are then placed in frozen containers that travel across the Atlantic by ship and are stored frozen in U.S. warehouses. From there, pizzas are packed with dry ice and recyclable insulation to stay frozen on their way to your door.

Each pizza comes inside a cardboard box with nutritional information and heating instructions.

Should I thaw my pizzas before putting them in the oven?

No. The pizzas should be kept frozen until ready to be cooked to get the best texture and flavor.

How long will my pizzas last in the fridge once they are thawed?

If your pizza has been intentionally removed from the freezer and allowed to thaw, we recommend storing it in the refrigerator and cooking it within 24 hours.

For the best texture and flavor, we recommend cooking your pizza directly from frozen rather than thawing it first.

Dietary & allergens

Are any of your products gluten-free, halal, or kosher?

No. At this time, our products are not gluten-free, halal, or kosher.

Do you offer a vegan pizza?

Yes. Our Rossa pizza is vegan.

What allergens do your pizzas contain?

All pizzas contain gluten, and pizzas with cheese contain dairy. All pizzas may contain soy because they share a facility that processes products made with soy. No trace amounts of other common allergens are present. All trace warnings and allergen information can be found on each product's respective nutritional label.
